Palliative Care

The goal of any palliative care program is not to cure, but to provide comfort and maintain the highest possible quality of life for as long as life remains.  With this goal in mind, our focus is not on death, but on compassionate specialized care for the living. Our interdisciplinary team provides support for the whole person and those who are sharing the person's journey.

When an individual is diagnosed as terminally ill, Grand View Care Center has contracts with local hospice care organizations. Placement arrangements can be made between your hospice provider and Grand View's Social Services Staff.

Hospice care is a service and care for terminally ill patients and their families. This becomes a viable solution for pain management, support services, physical care, therapy, and counseling.
