Social Services

If you are interested in becoming a resident of Grand View Care Center,  just looking for information about us, or would like to take advantage of our Day and Respite Care programs, you will want to talk to our Social Services Department. This department is staffed by two employees who are available from 8 to 4:30 Monday through Friday, and other times by special arrangements.

Our Social Services Department will give you the information you need to make an informed decision about your care needs.  They will tell you about ways to pay for your stay, and what is needed for you to move to Grand View.  Then, they will be here to welcome you and your family on admission day--and anytime during your stay, when you have questions, concerns, or just want to visit. 

Admission:

Because the admission process can be complex, Social Services will help you through the paperwork and answer your questions and concerns. Once admitted to our facility, social services is always available to both the resident and their family.

Transportation:

Social Services will coordinate appointments and set up transportation (if needed) to the appointments.

Discharge Planning:

Finally, if and when the time comes for you to return to your home, or to another facility, our Social Services Department will help with those arrangements as well. The ladies in this department are your advocate and friend.
