Meals
Our Culinary (dietary) Services are second to none!  We provide delicious homemade meals three times a day with snacks in between. Our meals use many seasonal foods and therefore change with the seasons. A licensed dietician develops our menus, with input from our residents. Each resident is able to select from several items for each meal, ensuring that their meals are individualized and that there is always something to their liking! Our specialized and therapeutic diets consist mostly of the same food as everyone else is eating--and they are as tasty as they are healthy.

The desserts and snacks are absolutely delicious! Snack carts filled with coffee, juice, fruit, ice cream, baked goods, as well as nutritional supplements are brought to residents' rooms in the morning, afternoon and evening. Coffee and treats are always available in the dining room and are served at our activities and special programs.

Our cooks pride themselves on their homemade, tasty cooking and  yummy baking....Just like Grandma used to make!

Dining

Our main Dining Room was redecorated several years ago and a donation from Arthur and Ruth Kube's family allowed us  to commission a local artist to paint a lovely garden scene mural on two walls. You'll feel like you  are eating in a quaint garden café! 

We also have smaller dining areas on our 600, 500, 400,  and 300 wings for individuals living in those areas, or with special needs.

New Breakfast Buffet

Just this January we added a made to order breakfast buffet in the main dining area,  giving residents more options for their breakfast.  And, since the buffet is open from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., residents can enjoy their breakfast whenever they feel like eating.  So far residents have loved this idea. 

We try very hard to make dining an enjoyable experience.
